Carrera CV201T Ltd Ed.

I recently acquired the 2012 Carrera CV201T Ltd. Ed. after looking for one for quite some time.
There is absolutely no information on net available about these 300 watches and no literature. I searched the back catalogues looking for it. I have 2 main questions that you guys may be able to answer.

1) What is this ltd. edition watch signifying or commemorating ?
2) Why is the number ltd to just 300 ?

I really have no idea what this watch is about. I just like the different look to it. I also own a CV2010-4 Fangio back which is pretty common in comparison to this one.

I think our best hope would be for the ultimate mega source of knowledge @Aquagraph to give us the story and information about this limited edition model

Can't tell you much, it is limited to 300, but I don't know what it's supposed to be 'for'... if anything, there's no obligation for it to be commemorating anything. It was available on a bracelet and also a black leather strap, I presume the 300 pcs was split between the two. As you say, the internet isn't throwing up a whole lot of info on this...
