·This late 80s F1 era was quite interesting. 📖
In 1988, McLaren & Honda’s first partnership year proved to be very successful, producing the McLaren-Honda MP4/4 - the most successful F1 racecar of all time (15 wins out of 16 races), driven by our favorite TAG Heuer Champion, Ayrton Senna, and giving him his 1st F1 Championship Title. 👍 The all dominant MP4/4 would have the last of the 1.5L Turbo engines made by Honda before winning again for 3 more consecutive years with the 3.5L NA V10s by McLaren-Honda (1989 Prost MP4/5, 1990 Senna MP4/5B & 1991 Senna MP4/6)
