OK, sorry, the rear light cluster looked like the Sierra's.

I was fortunate enough to drive one from a stage finish to the service halt once, didn’t get it any further, not even a wee detour, but it was an experience. It was then back to lying underneath the escort (in the wet and mud) doing normal stuff. Ah well.

Many, many years ago wife and I plus a few friends travelled down a Kielder forest stage on the RAC rally for a night stage, we got to see a Sratos at full chat flash past us, 5-8 second view, I was wet, cold and tired, but happy as pig in poo.

Well, since I "liked" those other rally car photos on my Facebook feed, it's started serving tons of them to me. Not complaining!

And then this photo of Jo Siffert racing against his Wyer Gulf teammate Pedro Rodriguez at the Spa 1000km 1971.

My dream car

Or failing that would possibly settle for vintage Ferrari of some kind - a 275, 250 GTO or Dino perhaps

Is Batman back in town?
😁 Yes, it looks like a Batmobile 😉

It’s the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster, #1 of only 6 made (by AMG), and the only one in black color. I took that picture in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center (Fellbach), where it was for sale, during Christmas 2014. More info here about the price and where is the car now (in Australia):

Actually I see what you mean so I had a quick look-interestingly

"The Ford parts-bin was raided to help give the RS200 a Ford corporate look, for example the front windscreen and rear lights were identical to those of the early Sierra and the doors were cut-down Sierra items. Small parts-bin items like switchgear were also used to save development time and expenses."

Ford RS200 - Wikipedia
There you have it.

My daughter often has car manufacturers using the hotel she works at for try and buy weekends, often golf thrown in, she likes cars and makes sure she gets to out in some/all of the offerings, luckily they also get the use of runways at a local military base for launch control etc demos.
Some of the cars that were available last time.

I have to say, the 992 actually looks pretty good in that lime green. The lighting is perfect too, to accentuate the curves and hips on the one on the left.

Porsche were chuffed with her for arranging the parking slots, big 4x4s were round the side, she now loves launch control!

Very nice!
I've been quite happy with my 997 for the past 12 years. The 992 is starting to tempt me, but its proportions are bigger than I'd like.

I've always thought the 997 is the best proportioned modern 911. Apart from a narrow body 993 maybe

The 997 is the perfect size for a sports car with grand touring capability; the 991/992 are the perfect size for a grand tourer with sports car capability. Depends on what your priorities are. I'd personally be happy with either, though you'd have to worry about IMS bearing service with a 997.1 Carrera / S
