I have this tag heuer watch...my first one. Needs a little work. Going to repair. But I have no idea what this Tag is called. Going to send it in to Tag for authentication and repair but wanted to see if someone could tell me anything about it. Thank you!

I think this one is beyond saving. It's well fake, sorry.

I barely know where to begin. I mean, just look at it! It would be quicker to list anything that's right with it - basically nothing. There's simply no way TAG Heuer ever made something that bad I'm afraid. Also, Google the serial number on the back (908518) and you will see that same caseback appears on many fake watches.

Everything about that just spells cheap junk, no Swiss or Japanese maker would produce something that sloppy.

Yes, agree with what has already been posted- this one is a fake with 100% certainty.

Thank you for the comments. No I am not a troll(ridiculous). I did call Tag Heuer and the reason I thought it could be real was because someone there told me in the 80s they only used the one set of numbers on the back. It wasn't until I called again yesterday and got someone different on the phone that explained that the number on the back wasn't authentic. I did get my money back thankfully.

Great- pleased that you were able to do that. Good luck hunting down another TAG and you're very welcome to come back and show us when you do!

Not ridiculous, because unfortunately there are people on the internet who like to wind people up on forums like this. This watch was such an obvious fake it set alarm bells ringing. However, as you are not then I apologize unreservedly. Might I suggest you post some pictures here before you buy your next watch and we will help you find a good (authentic) one.
