Hi there, Just want to check from the experts whether you have any comments on this Bund below? Tx Ping Pong
Any kind soul in this forum could help me verify whether this watch is the real thing before I take the plunge? I am very new to heuer so need some help. Haven't really seen more examples of the watch. For instance there is no t at 6 o'clock. The fonts at the case back seems different from some examples that I have seen online. The 6s and the S seems different from some I have seen. Is it something to worry about? Other than that I think it is really a good example to buy.
Looks to be in extremely good condition for a tool watch (maybe too good?). I'm no expert on these, I guess you've seen this web site?
Thank you so much for the reply. Yes I have read the research but the report has yet to tackle the issue on various case backs. Maybe someone could start documenting all the various case backs for the different dial versions. It is in very good condition. The bezel has been replaced which the seller has fully disclosed. The patina of this watch just looks amazing. Ping Pong
Looks good to me- but have to say that the Bund is a difficult one to verify because there were so many different dial variations. Rather than say "yes, it's definitely genuine", what I can say is "it sure doesn't look like a fake or have any of the obvious signs of being a fake"
Thank you so much for the reply DC. I have decided to get the watch. Have been yearning for it ever since I saw one on my good friend's wrist. It was his one and only Heuer from a bunch of omegas. This would be my first Heuer after a couple of Omegas Cal 321 as well. Would this be a start of an addiction to Heuer? Haha Autavias looks amazing I must say. Best Ping Pong
no idea...other than the unhelpful "lots"! Think I've posted somewhere else that Sinn got its start servicing these and would helpfully replace that old Heuer dial with a new Sinn dial. Thanks Helmut. The design of the Bund is not from Heuer- Leonidas made the first watches and it was only after they merged with Heuer that we see Heuer-branded Bunds.
