The store made some noises about it being "hardly noticeable" and "what good eyes you must have" but didn't try to baulk at a replacement once I'd showed them the close-up photos.

·Good eyes not required, just attention to detail....especially when you wear it on your wrist day in and day out.
Most stores don’t pick these things up as they see watches constantly yet never pay that much attention to them.

·Unbelievable! Waited two weeks for the store to get a replacement sent in and it has the very same issue but with the outer bezel now off centre to the right! It is a different watch as I kept the original until the replacement was in to exchange. I then checked their display stock of other Carrera Calibre 5 variants and 1 of the 3 units on display also had the same issue!
I am thoroughly disappointed in the quality of Tag and I've given up and got a refund. I thought it was a quality brand?

·That’s a shame... none of my Tag Heuers have that issue, including a calibre 5 Carrera.

·That is indeed a shame and not a good representation of the brand at all.
I’m going to assume the unfortunate thing is that many customers buy a watch as a bit of bling so to speak and so pay little attention to the details. If that’s the case then maybe TH aren’t aware of these issues....or worse because not reported enough simply not concerned?
