Finally fitted the Uncle Seiko beads of rice. Took a bit of tweaking on the end links. If you’re not handy or patient this is not the bracelet option for you. It will be a nice added choice when I have a bracelet itch.
I have a spare set of Uncle hollow end links, tried to get one to sit flush with my Dato. It was a lot of tweaking for me, over 2 hours, and I couldn't get it right. One side is pretty good, but other side bulges out too much for my liking.

So I'm continuing to look for other BoR bracelet options. I've noticed that RADO makes a 19mm for their 37mm Captain Cook watch. I wonder if it will fit? Looks pretty nice, plus it looks to have quick release springbars.

But in looking at the position of the springbars in the above pic, I have a feeling it might not align with the holes of the glassbox. Looks a little to close to the backside of the lugs, where the glassbox holes are closer to the front side.

How do you avoid scratching up your watch whilst playing around with these endlinks? Are there any special precautions you take?

While experimenting, I used thick plastic tape to cover up my lugs and also the case.

But the bottom lip/tongue of the Uncle hollow end links will cause scratches on the back side of the lugs with day to day use for sure. Another reason I'm avoiding this option for now.
