I wonder if then McLaren cars will improve quality control, guy in the car club was asked if he wanted the optional finish treatment at £1k to improve fit and finish, one or two Macs I've seen looklike a blind man fitted the body panels and his dog signed the job off.

What like if you want it built properly that's an extra grand? No TAG Heuer jokes pleeze!

What like if you want it built properly that's an extra grand?

Honestly this sounds made up - because McLaren would never charge just a grand for any option. Something like that would be 10k at least!

I got it from the horses mouth, to spend extra time ensuring panel gaps were correct they wanted more cash, when he did the factory tour to see his car being built he asked if he could sign the chassis in an normally unseen area was told by the guide “I think not” he laughed at him and did it anyway.

Mercedes appeal stewards decision re Max and Lewis’s no contact incident at turn 4, not happy at “no inquiry needed” verdict.
