Bezel popping off 1000 Professional

hi all,

I have a mid 90’s era full size (38mm) 1000 night diver that I mostly just wear on the weekends. I’ve had a few times when the entire bezel pops off along with the crescent shaped spring. It frightens me that I’m going to lose it so I haven’t worn it much lately.

Has anyone else run into this and any suggestions to keep the bezel locked down?
