    Hi,

I just bought new E4 42mm and I love it. However, the battery lasts only for 12 hours and maximum of 14 hours; is this normal?. I tried to turnoff the always screen on option however that did not help.

I did reset again and the battery did not improve.

Give it at least 3 to 4 charging cycles.
Mine lasts a full day always.

Thanks for the reply. It has been 2 weeks now. I went to the shop and they replaced it with new one. Will give it couple of days.

By the way, I am using an android phone (pixel 8 pro) I am not sure if this causes a battery drainage.

If anything using an Android phone should probably give you a better battery life, not worse, because Android phones are better optimized for Wear OS watches like the TAG Heuer Connected. I have a Connected E4 45mm and a Pixel 7 Pro and I always have over 50% battery when I take it off in the evening. The 42mm does have a smaller battery, but it's also true that smartwatch battery life can vary wildly depending on lifestyle.

Thanks for the response. It seem that the issue was with the old watch. The replacement has now way better battery performance, 5 hours since full charge and it is now 83%.

This sounds roughly consistent with my experience. Glad you have your problem solved.

    Hi,

    try the following:

    Routine 1
From time to time when charging, if you feel that battery life is bad.
    Put watch in cradle
Press powerbutton continously for about 30 seconds. Watch will reload approx 3x
Charge over night without removin from cradle

    Routine 2
    Charge watch over night
Take out of cradle and switch off, then switch on
Let it outside cradle for approx 4-5 min
Put in cradle again and wait until its charged 100%

Both routines for me work in a significant way. Whenever I feel battery getting week (approx every 7 days) do one of these and enjoy 14-16hrs with AOD Display

    Hope it helps
