Basel 2017- What would interest you?

Time for a quick question. If there was a Calibre 11 collector event held at Basel in 2017, would you be interested in attending? We'd do it in a way that would involve TAG Heuer and also allow you to see the Basel show itself, as well as see the new collection up close and meet other collectors.

Of course, this would mean making your way to Basel in March (around the 23rd).

Would this interest you enough to come to Switzerland? What else would make it an event that you would attend?

I could very well be interested if you could pull that off. Not sure what a realistic wish list of added bonuses would be. I'm sure we'd all appreciate access to factory-customization like your Monza but would that be even close to do-able??

Not sure on the customisation, but Basel would be a great event if we got enough interest. Perhaps some time at TAG Heuer HQ and then Basel?

I'd very much be interested. Have considered Basel for a number of years but if a visit to TH HQ was possible also I'd find it very difficult to refuse/ make an excuse like work etc.

Watches aside, it would be nice to have a calibre11.com members TH collaboration; a watch travel pouch or something to the like.

Unelss something unpredictable happens, I will be attending next Baselworld (it is not so far from where I live), so I would be interested, but I'm afraid that I don't qualify as a collector.

Please don't that this is reserved for people who own more than x number of watches. This is about people with the passion and interest to discover more about the watches and TAG Heuer, and to get a chance to meet over a drink rather than a keyboard. And that passion means there is no difference between you having 1 watch or 100 👍

Sounds like a great idea. A visit to TH HQ and the museum would be awesome and a chance to meet JCB or some of the other key folks at TH.

Any plans for 2018? I’m out in Geneva for the motor show 18 - 21st March. Very interested in visiting Basel World.

Hi, no, I think we had good interest...but in short, I didn't get organised in time. My new years resolution is to get something arranged in September/ October this year for Baselworld 19. I have discussed in with TAG Heuer who are supportive of the idea, so all we need to do is work out the logistics- perhaps one day at TAG Heuer HQ and then travel to Basel for the opening day?

I won't be there this year unfortunately...but there will be on the ground Calibre 11 coverage, so fear not!

I really really like the sound of that new years resolution of yours! Thanks for the reply 👍
