Nice one, discrete and understated with a touch of gold to accentuate the details. Not my style, but not bad for those who like gold watches.

Shame there are no more vintage themed chronographs for now.

I quite like it. Guessing it will retail at around 5K USD?

    No, it's 18k Gold, so a fair bit more..maybe a shade under $10k (so less than a Gold Apple Watch ;) )

Just my opinion, but for me, it would've been absolutely perfect if it didn't have "calibre 7" on the dial and just had the word "automatic". This watch is very classy already, don't get me wrong, but sometimes less is more.

This is... remarkably well executed. Especially the crystal, that's rather a special touch, as is the overall case thickness which for a displayback piece is quite modest. Is this one of the models that was designed before JCB's return or one that came after it as I know from the Hodinkee article he does have an appreciation for dress pieces even though he's the father of Modern Hublot.

Hard to know- it was signed off before he took over as CEO, but even then I suspect he had a little/ some/ a lot of influence as Chairman of the Group
