Probably no surprise to see this auction crop up a few days after the last First Gen Autavia reached EUR41k

Obviously in much better condition and still a first series dial...but later hands which command lower value

Dial has no lume, and the movement bridge is normally ed Heuer signed. Could be a transitional bridge perhaps. Pushers may also be later (hard to be sure originals are smaller than all other screwback case Autavia) and crown is later...and try and find the original domed one...impossible.

The seller is known and trusted and is not trying to cover anything up, it is all there for you to see. Whatever its issues it's still a 1st exec 2446 and has a lovely bezel it's just not in as "original condition" as the prior one on eBay. Suspect it may still go for £22-25k level.

Agree Rich- hands look to have been re-lumed too

Beautiful. The brushing on the steel looks excellent.

Found this one on eBay. It's quite near me and looks like it won't sell at the asking price of £1995. What do people think. Worth an offer? I can see some flaking of the lower text on the dial and aging to the lume and hour markers. But otherwise it looks in decent shape. Photo isn't great, though. I have asked for more.

Pretty nice, but yes... get the new pictures before placing your bids.

Looks to be in solid condition, but as these are not that rare, I'd probably wait until a better one came along- unless the price drops significantly!

Here's one I found for anyone interested in something slightly different...

^ I like its simplicity, quite cool, especially on a rubber strap.
