Yeah, I've watched most of his videos. Archie is someone I watch now and again, you definitely have to be in the mood for him.

Sometimes it’s funny, most often I think it’s a bit over the top, but you really shouldn’t take anything he says too seriously, especially if it’s followed by “Fuckahs!”

Quite, and often it isn't... I think his collection reviews are probably the best videos, most of the time though he repeats himself endlessly like he doesn't know what his point is supposed to be.

·I saw him at an event at the Vintage Watch Co in Brisbane a couple of years ago. Very quiet and dorky. Not at all like his YouTube persona.

·I think in all fairness, he's hated on the Tag brand for years but he has stated previously that if any watch he would get from the brand, it would be a Monaco.

TBH, there are strange folk everywhere, it's just the internet has given them a voice, rather than them shouting at the walls.

Urban Gentry is quite good, the only problem with him is that he 'by his own admission' only talks about watches he has personal experience of, which I get, but it means that his 'Best watches' lists are pooled from a very small sample, and you can pretty much guess what they're going to be every flipping time!

I joined some Australian based FB group a few months ago and soon removed myself.... I'm now off FB altogether and feel so much better for it 😁.
