Any rumors about any heritage Autavia 60th Anniversary for next year?

Why not just grab a Sinn 103? Essentially the same case style and the dials are pretty similar.

I'd say the compressor-case Autavia was not a major enough part of Heuer's history to ever merit a reissue, unfortunately.
Yes, I've debated that. The thing that held me back is the finish of the subdials.

I can’t possibly be the only one who struggles to ever feel enough love for these CBE Autavias to (eventually) pull the trigger (?) These are certainly nice chronos in their own right, but the fact that they went with a rather “atypical” Autavia case shape just doesn’t cut it for me.

If I buy a 60/70s-inspired chrono, I’d much rather have a cushion/tonneau-shaped case. And the massive-looking Rindt bezel just kind of finishes killing it (for me). So I guess no Autavia chrono for me ever (given how the prices for the vintage originals have now gone through the roof) 🙁

In other news: Why is TH not doing a re-edition of a GMT chrono model? The H02 offers this complication, after all.
The bezel on the 85th anniversary looses some of that thickness with the style of writing. If you like the watch but are held back by the bezel a CBE2111 is the watch to get. I may be a little biased 😉

Two “true” pandas already in the collection, notably a Tudor 1st gen. Fastrider and a Longines 1973 (with the Camaro-style case). So I don’t see the point of adding another one.

I would be mildly interested by the reverse panda Autavia IF there was a way to swap the bezel (insert). But I guess sourcing the JH85 one alone is pretty near impossible…

Oh I bet that's easy. I'm sure TAG still has spares of the MH bezel and you could probably talk one of their Boutique watchmakers into swapping it for you. Otherwise, any watchmaker can do the swap - you just have to get your hands on the bezel / bezel insert (depending on whether TAG sells just the insert as a separate part; oftentimes companies don't)
