If I'm not mistaken you're indeed correct! The standard Autavia was delivered with the five-minute markers on the chronograph minute hand and the JH 85th edition came with a standard configuration. This was later changed and the standard Autavia's produced today have the new dial. No idea whether this will affect future prices, but I know that I won't ask for a new, updated dial on my next service!
Ha, indeed best to mention that! Omega has ruined many a vintage speedmaster with service dials

I just noticed that some CBE2110 standard Autavia's for sale on Chrono24 have the chrono minute subdial with minute markers iso the original 5min markers. So in line with all the later LE's. Is this a recent thing? Maybe I missed something. Might be worth chasing a reasonably priced 'Mark I' then 😗

Are these actual photos of watches or the standard TAG Heuer shot? It's true that the prototype watches had the 2.5 minute marks (e.g. my shot here)

But my recollection is that by the time the watch made it to market, every watch now had the "correct" 1 minute markers.

By the way, the first Autavia with 1 minute markers was the Jo Siffert edition (designed around the same time as the JH85)- at the time of that design, both TAG Heuer models still had the 2.5 minute markers, as did TAG Heuer's design proposal for the Siffert. But I was definite on wanting single minute marks for the Siffert, and this change then got picked up across the range. A small victory!

I’m pretty sure the original cbe2110 came out with the 2.5 min markers. Most watches out there have this subdial. This is an example on chrono24. Same as the official TH shots.

However far fewer watches have the later 1 min markers, like this one also om chrono24:

Agree- CBE2110 certainly was sold with the 2.5 minute markers...I'm not sure that CBE2111 (JH85) ever was

Well, I’m obviously extremely bias in this case, but it’s a really nice watch! And as you can tell, I have the early dial with 2,5 markers. Can we all agree to call this configuration “Mark I”, that would be quite cool 😉
