A new Heuer model- Heuer Ref. 15013G Quartz

    ...at least to me. This is a Heuer Ref. 15013G owned by a UK collector. The watch was listed for sale on Chronotrader a while back and is an interesting design- has a similar "TV screen" crystal to the Silverstone, but otherwise it's an unusual look for a Heuer quartz model.

    In terms of size, it's quite contemporary- 35mm without the crown (43mm lug-to-lug) and 19mm lug width.

    If anyone knows more about the watch would love to hear more...it's actually quite a cool design, no?

    Yes, the quartz models from the late 70s/ early 80s are an acquired taste!

    ;) BTW I clicked on the 'Like' Button in another thread a short time ago, but it is showing up as anonymous. It was those great pictures of the 'Porsches'. I must have done something wrong.

    By the way, note the unusual end to the seconds hand- like an electricity bolt
