Mr Monaco McBeardy does sound very fancy. Works well internationally too.

But Speedy, not so much. It can lead to wrong impressions with that kind of name...

 

Have managed to get 15% off the bracelet model Speedy, & currently that’s just piping the Monaco & the Carrera WoS Ltd Ed

 

After much back & forth, I've decided to go with the Speedy & not the Monaco (crazy after 2+yrs of wanting this watch). However the pros of the Speedy just edged the Monaco, also tied in with the speedy birth of my little man, whereby it almost went south very quickly.

Back to now being TH-less, however a very keen eye on the greyman Carrera (daily silver dial seems great), and more so on the 'in-house' possibly due this year.

Also intrigued if I can mod the Aquaracer dial (WAN2110) to be non date.

Still love the look of the Monaco (although one angle - LH crown side it does bug me being slab sided). Maybe one day I'll add one & I guess not for the new price in this thread. (but 15% of the Speedy - with a 7% price rise due 1/2/23 wasn't to be sniffed at either)

Just don't understand what you mean, dial will have a hole in it...

 

The mod would be to fill the whole & identical to the 9pm side of the dial. (ala no date version)

yep especially those at 3pm. If a model is available with no date, that’s my preference. 6mo clock date works. Is all about symmetry baby
