That was actually a prototype. The final released version didn't have "TAG Heuer" on the lower front of the case. Most of the fakes do, which is an easy way to tell.

Nope not yet, requested the new Golf Monaco blue strap to be ordered in as well. Also on tenterhooks and baby #2 due today so playing the waiting game, would be collecting the watch from store anyways. Although as spreading the payment on CC & their IIFC, they are now checking if this can be done as have the 25% discount. Will wait and see their response and go from there. Edit to say due date is today, but looks to be stubborn much like the 1st & me!
Ha yes, the impending watch is a treat/ milestone purchase for when the baby is born. (hence the to-ing & throw-ing on what to purchase. Not really a flipper and with the money being spent wanted something I'd regret (much like my 30th & the U Boat, House & Panerai) I bought my BB58 for when my daughter (1st) was born
Well an eventful 24hrs, thankful to our great NHS & their quick thinking & actions meant baby McBeardy #2 arrived, Healthy boy (just currently with no name). Mother doing well. Another fun thing is now deciding which watch, prior to the drama this week, was the Monaco, then Monday saw a Speedmaster 3861 Sapphire on sale for just above the 25% off discounted Monaco (currently seeing if the SA can also price match this) then i need to decide. Omega has a 7% price increase due end of January, making the Speedmaster new RRP crazy. Tough choices to decide. Greyman Carrera has been earmarked for a future wedding watch, still also keen on the WoS Ltd Panda Carrera. However Speedy ticks a lot of boxes, the Monaco looks damn cool. Hmmmmm
