My guess was the new retro inspired F1 would debut, not sure what else.

I read that it was going to be in Bel Air. But that area is now under threat from the Palisades fire.

I'm sure the releases will still go as planned, just without the in-person event.

Is it usually open to the public? I think it's watch press only. But I'll stop by 5th Ave and see if they have stuff in... I know some of the upcoming Carrera releases are already in.

Don't know. But figured since you were invited to the 5th Ave Boutique's grand re-opening dinner event, you might be invited as a VIP guest to something similarly related to this event. 😉

I was planning to attend the LA event, but I am glad they've made the right call and moved it. Let's pray and donate for LA's recovery.

Totally makes sense given the circumstances.

On a personal level, if I could tap into my enthusiasm from 2 weeks ago I was very excited LVMH watch week was not only in my home town, but about 6 or 7 miles away from where I live. I don't know how one gets invited to such things, as I was not -- but still super excited there was something TH related nearby.

Would've been nice, but I'm not on the same VIP level as Hubert is!

Seems like NY is the main event, as that's where everything will likely first be revealed. Paris is 10 days later, probably setup for anyone who had planned to go to LA but couldn't reschedule on such short notice to get to NY.
Hmmm, I may have to stop by myself then. I’m maybe 30 minutes from NYC. I’m curious what Carrera releases they have already. I’ve seen what a few of the new stuff is going to look like so I’d be eager to take a look
