They are most definitely not sold out.
Only one that’s not available is the gold version. Basically all of those already got presold before the unveiling

I think when the boutique is saying sold out, it’s at their location. Short Hills, NJ said they are sold out, but I think some are available in NY.

If it's like the Seafarer, TAG is likely releasing them in batches. So the initial allocation for a given geography can seem sold out. Then TAG cranks out another batch a few months later and they're suddenly available again.

My closest Boutique has a Porsche 963 Skeleton back in stock, when they were supposedly gone last year. There's 963 of those Skeletons, 968 of the Seafarer and 911 of this Porsche Rallye.

I think there were only 11 of the gold, so those might truly be completely sold out.

Yes, I tired to get one for my store and I found out only ONE of them came to the US. Which is already sold before it arrived.

The gold ones you’re not gonna be able to get anywhere. There was only one that came to the US and it’s already sold. The steel version, however, are a lot more available by comparison

Seems kind of ridiculous to make 11. Just because of 911, sure they could have sold more than that. One for the whole of America?

Pretty much yeah. I thought it was absolutely absurd when I heard it myself. I don’t have any details on where the other ones were sold, I just know that there was only supposed to be one coming to the states.

Yup, crazy low number. I guess they didn't want them languishing in Boutiques, like some of the other gold Carreras have.

Maybe they could've gone with 60 or 65, since it's 60 years since the 1965 911's race at the Monte Carlo Rally. Or is that too many?

I’ve been enjoying this watch so much. Figured I’d add a photo on leather, and some nice macros for more detail.

Killer .
Congratulations mate.

Great pics @DougFNJ! It really looks the part on the rally strap! 😍😍😍

Which I noticed has quick release springbars. Quite a relief after the hard to remove mystery springbars of the Seafarer.

YES!! Only wish they had a quick release system for the bracelet. On that note, also wish they used screw pins for the links, the collars are very long, and the pins are too easy to bend when removing them. Any slight bend, and they aren’t going back in. Also wish they’d do some kind of micro adjustment. Thankfully it should only need to be done one time. Once sized right, it’s very comfortable.
Also note, the short links are not half links. They can be used to get to the ideal size.
