Not uncommon, Omega also does that.

I would assume that it’s so you can see how long you’ve been diving for by just the quickest of glances. Would still work with single colour but you’d need to look for which hand is longer, which takes your brain longer to do.

Totally academic when you don’t even get your watch wet, let alone dive. lol

That’s a good point, it would make it instantly obvious which hand matters.

Also academic because it doesn’t have a lume pip on the bezel, so it’s not a dive watch.

There is also that. Forgot about that. PMSL.

You can tell I won’t be needing that. 🤪

Annoyingly Tag & Omega seem to be keen on doing this. I for one cannot stand it & messes with my fondness for things to match.

Was so excited to finally receive the watch.
Starting out of box, i see that crown doesn't go all the way back to position "0".
Was able to set the time and date. Watch is functional but the crown doesn't want to go back to position 0.

i hate that gap between position 0 and 1. Anyone else had the same issue or am i the only lucky one?
any suggestions?

I purchased this watch directly from Time+Tide Australia website

It's a screw-down crown. Push the crown in towards the case until it stops, and then turn it clockwise until it stops turning with light pressure.

Thanks. Tried that but still no luck.
After this step "Push the crown in towards the case until it stops" ==> Which per instruction book is Position 1
No matter how many ever times i turn it clockwise, the crown doesn't seems to be moving towards the case at all...I hear slight clicks as though it is missing the thread.

Well, I think in reality the diamond bezel Carrera is the best watch TH have created this year, but not everyone is smart enough to see it yet.

That Carrera is very nice, and scored high on my list, but still the Sundowner for me.
