But... you are getting a limited edition watch on a bracelet and a unique NATO with gold wotsits. So it's not just a watch. Besides, you like NATOs so it's not like you are me and you would never wear it like that.

And if it fits on the standard bracelet then there's no need to buy it right away.

Just make sure you buy it before the next 40% price hike. 馃槤

Have you ever tried a nato?

I would happily wear it on that nato as it looks superb. Just thinking about options, that鈥檚 all. 馃憤馃徑

I've tried on the camo Aquaracer, which isn't a NATO but it's fabric. Wasn't keen. I don't think adding three miles of flappy crap hanging off the side is going to change my mind.

The flappy crap is my main issue with natos too. And how tall they make the watch sit on wrist

I guess it depends on the watch and the strap. My FXD feels great on, despite the strap going underneath the watch. Still sits lovely. No flappy bit though, due to the Velcro, so can鈥檛 comment there. My wrist fits that strap perfectly, so all Velcro perfectly hidden. Not sure how I would feel if there was a big black section showing.

If one tucks the NATO strap back under the keeper loop, it gives the NATO a neat and tidy look. The tail end of the strap then tucks under the second keeper loop, hence no flappy part if worn this way.

This is how Andrew is wearing the NATO in his video.

I wear my NATOs the same way as well. Love the look!

I would wear it that way too @Mspeedster, but having not done so yet I just assumed there would be some sort of flap lower down out of sight. I guess the keeper covers all of that then.

The other trick is where one positions the keepers relative to the case. I like to position the two top keepers farther away.
Which then makes the excess part sit more towards the back of my wrist, making it less visible from the front. But this also depends on one's wrist size and the length of the NATO strap.

I think I prefer that option not to see the folded part in the keeper towards the top of the wrist.

Yeah I know, I am just not a fan of this thick thing here

I prefer a normal strap. Like this superb C dawg strap on my fiddy bay

There's a difference between how @dtf is wearing his NATO vs the way I wear mine. He's folded the strap "over" the keeper loop, which makes it stick out thicker. In my case, I fold it back "under" the keeper loop, which makes it lay flatter, more like the single pass NATO that you're showing Jim.

I'm afraid I'm still not convinced. And also... I really hated the keepers on that bloody awful strap that came with my orange F1. They are very sharp too. Best thing I ever did buying that bracelet... well not the 'best' thing, but a very good move!

I was very skeptical of nato straps, but felt like a change from the OE leather on my bb58 and didn鈥檛 fancy spending 拢拢拢 on a OE bb58 fabric strap so bought a watchgecko strap to try. I鈥檝e not got as far as putting it on my bb58, but wore it on my way beater for a couple of months and I really liked it. It鈥檚 super comfortable and my worries about it getting in the way and adding thickness to the watch proved unfounded, it actually sits better against the wrist than on the stock strap, because the rigidity of the stock rubber leaves it floating (my bb ceramic original strap was terrible for this).

Ben, did you order one in time? 馃槄

According to insta, they are sold out in UK and have 5 left globally. Not bad for a collaboration, although probably didn鈥檛 sell out as quickly as the Siffert Autavia.

Stock went from 6 in UK last night, then 4 this morning, then just 1 this afternoon.

At that point I changed my avatar to a gold zero with black background.

Thus representing the number of days since my last watch purchase. 馃お
