Tempted?
Well I am not actively looking, as set myself a no purchase target for 2024, which has gone well so far. Plan being to buy something dressier next time.

Then stuff like this comes along and catches the eye.

I don’t want a big collection, so trying to be selective, with this one not making sense when I have the FXD Red Bull and the Orange Aquaracer alongside my Seamaster…but this Sundowner is definitely tempting me!

Have you decided yet @dtf ?

I’m in a similar situation. I’ve bought two watches for me and one for my wife this year (after not buying any last year), only one of which was planned, so funds are a touch low and I arguably have more watches than I need.

However Im really taken with this, it’s the highlight of TH releases this year and might be the solargraph that I’ve been waiting for. It’s inconvenient this is a LE and de facto sold out, otherwise I’d wait until the spring.

Very similar situation. Sometimes it doesn’t have to make sense though, I guess. Not ruling anything out at this point. 🤪

If you're really that taken with it, I'd suggest pulling the trigger.

Remember what happened with the Carrera x Porsche RS2.7? You snooze, you lose. And this one is a lot more reasonably priced to where you could rejigger your budget to account for spending now vs half a year later.

Sweet watch! If I didn't already have the "standard" titanium Solargraph, I would definitely be ordering one of these!

I’ve managed to get snag one in the early bird raffle. Should be with me in 2-3 business days.

Interesting idea, is it possible to fit the standard titanium bracelet to this watch? Are they the same finish etc? Cos this is TAG Heuer so we can't assume anything. They probably have the lug holes drilled in a stupidly different place or something.

Asking for a friend.

I thought the same, although the cost of a bracelet separately might just make it prohibitive when comparing the watch to the standard Ti version.

Check out the lume!

Is it just me who would always look at that, and just have the tiniest worry at the back of my mind.... "They've put the wrong minute hand on..."

(yes I know it's not wrong... ).

Titanium bracelet here in Australia is around $600. Makes it a 5k watch.
Im not sure it's worth that much. Ok it's a LE of 250 pieces but still not worth 5k in my opinion. Nato strap is nice and special touches with the rose gold hardware.

I think in this case they should have kept it all the same, the bezel isn't lumed so it isn't a dive watch.

I hear you. Not knocking the nato in the slightest as it looks superb. Just mulling over options and whether I would ever want it on bracelet. Price of bracelet doesn’t jump out as extortionate, but you are bang on when you suggest it has out priced the watch as a whole when factored in. 👍🏽
