Honestly at £7500 (the cost of a Bamford custom C11), it's a much better deal than a pink H02.

Greetings from the TAG Heuer Boutique, Atlanta, Georgia . . . not sure what the nickname should be, but it's a good looking watch!!

I agree but Siffert did actually wear a Monaco during the 1970 Monaco GP, which happened before the premiere of the Le Mans movie.

Ironically, I associate the Monaco more with Le Mans than the Monaco GP, so 24 hours is the first thing that jumped to my mind.

I'm not so into the nicknames . . . if TAG Heuer calls it the "Dark Blue Monaco", that's good enough for me.

I recall reading about Siffert wearing one to specifically promote the watch. Was there ever a picture of that?

Same frame, different watches. I'm sure TAG could've spent extra money to get a dedicated shot for each watch

Judging by the quality of their renders vs the actual watches in real life, I am far from surprised. They just clearly don’t care and will spend as little as possible.

It's not the same frame though, is it? Look at the position of the fingers. Most likely taken at the same time, however.

So to me the colors look a lot more like the blue and green from last year's titanium Monaco LE. I think they work well here though compared to the other skeleton Monacos.

It should be called 'Sparks' because according to TAG Heuer's marketing, the yellow is meant to represent the sparks that F1 cars make when they hit the track.

And no, I'm not making it up. It was on Instagram.

Can't believe someone's actual job is to come up with crap like that.

I still don’t think that at that price point - i.e., in that competitive environment - they’ll move a lot of pieces…
I wonder what the sales figures for the last year's models have been? Those models are already dropping like a stone on the secondary market. I've seen upto 30% discount already being given by decent watch dealers.

Reminds me off those nonsense Moonswatches that came out last year with different seconds hands - blue moon, strawberry moon, beaver moon, etc.

I appreciate the effort they put into the case finish before coating.

Not sure it was done the same way with last year's models? 👎
