Yep still like the red one. Would I buy one probably not, but as a watch think it flows.

Be interesting to see a comparison between the Carrera H01 and these

These actually look quite cool. As usual, renders are terrible and do nothing for the watches.

I notice the sides of the case remind me of those Aston Martin LE Carreras...

"It actually sits quite well". Hardly a ringing endorsement for the size.

It's true though, the Carrera Sport wears more like a 42mm.

At least they are titanium. I was afraid they'd be steel and thus rather heavy.

The Time & Tide video is cool, but the RAG Heuer video is even better. They should sack the person doing the renders and get the video person to take that on!

These are strong additions at a more reasonable price, even though still higher than they should be.

Good job on this release I say.

Readability isn’t the best, though (?)

The videos show a real depth to these, so I am guessing it’s better than pictures show, especially with the usual time set.

People said that about the H01 skeleton too. But I have never had an issue reading the time cos the hands are chunky and plenty of lume.

I wonder if the Tag Heuer Connected E5 design will be based on this for the larger model! It looks cool 😎

Remember that LVMH also came up with Zenith Defy Extreme. 44mm Titanium skeleton chronograph .... join the dots. I think this was conceptualised under Julien Tornare's tenure, who came from ....... Zenith.
No, these were conceptualized like 2 years before Tornare's arrival to TAG Heuer. It takes time to develop such watches with this complex case construction.

Tried these on when I swung by the boutique this week. The black one isn’t too bad in person, in DLC titanium it’s nice and light and feels like a decent sporty piece if this is your kinda thing.

The red and blue (and the tourbillons which I decided not to even try) are not as successful IMO. They are steel and heavy, and I don’t think the colors quite work.

Just noticed this photo on the Monochrome article about the new watches. Hard to see here but if you lighten it up they've put the watch on an alligator strap...

Probably because they were not allowed to cut the rubber on the demo watches they borrow for review?

Anyway, looks a lot better than those strange rubber straps tbh
