During the visit to the TH museum in August 2022, I already got a hint about the new F1 watches.
So this was already going on before Kith came into the picture.

Which means that story about them meeting and only then deciding to do a re-issue collab, out of the blue, was a fabrication. Who’d have thought this stuff goes on…

But the article stated this:

"A comeback was already on the minds of TAG Heuer’s executives."

Maybe this could become the precursor to deprecating TAG all together.

😲 😵‍💫 🙄

F1 World Champion and Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen showcases the TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith collection.

The collaborative TAG Heuer | Kith logo will be featured on Max and Checo Perez's car and racing suit this weekend as he competes in the Miami Grand Prix.

The collection releases tomorrow May 3rd exclusively in-store at TAG Heuer & Kith Miami Flagships ahead of the global launch on Monday, May 6th.

Great live photos! The cream dial with the jubilee bracelet isn’t a full lume dial like the original? I hope they start making new bezels & straps so people can restore their originals with!
I don't know. It didn't seem like it, but never thought to ask.

You know, if there's ever a version branded RedBull-Heuer, in RB livery colors, I'd be more enthusiastic about this watch. At least then there would be some credible connection to Formula1.

This watch is really about KITH, its founder and the associated KITH demographic. The logo branding, City names, Kith & Kin, and Just Us are all about KITH.

I get that KITH might be the rage for a certain demographic and this watch could open up a whole new market for TAG, but I'm personally let down by this one element of the watch.

Questionable story indeed..
Someone had posted "I still remember that dinner in Cancun" on Ronnie Fieg's IG but it looks deleted now. Person was at CAA.

Looks like Dempsey got one of my favorites, the Tokyo. I like how the city models have color coordinated boxes.

I stated this on one of my prior posts, TAG Heuer should issue new F1s with the colors of the historic F1 liveries of the past.

Dare I ask?

Sorry....for those without Instagram.
They have removed the Tag Heuer Logo on the Red bulls. Replaced with Kith.

Yes, this is what I was referring to by my 😲 emoji on the prior page and pic. Not that Max is wearing the watches.

Interesting to see the early eBay listings on the Kith / Heuer Formula 1 watches -- most of the watches are listed with the BuyItNow in the $2500 to $3500 range, with the boxed sets priced at around $30,000. Of course, we have no idea at what prices the watches will actually change hands, but these are some strong numbers.

Yeah I saw some of those listings. Must be KITH top tier loyalty customers getting ready to flip. Since these don't actually get released for sale until May 3rd for early access and May 6th to the general public, right?

Here's a point, if your wrist is small enough to wear this, then the strap is too long.
