Aquagraph
·I guess. But it seems backwards to me. But I guess it's no different than the Carrera Montreal...
Looks great if you hold your thumb over the cyclops. Loving the red triangle and fauxtina
Bruh I am a huge fan of the cyclops on mine, it works really well and looks great being "integrated" under/in the crystal
I’m fine with modern watches like the carrera elegants, modern interpretations of classic watches like the skeleton monacos and vintage inspired watches like the bb58 and ranger….provided they are done well.
This, like the 844 tribute before, is a half-assed wave of the vintage stick over a current design and some narrative modification to make it fit with an imaginary history.
To me, progression is the natural course, making a 'retro' version of a watch that came out in 2004 is just.... bizarre. If it even looked a little bit like a 1000 then okay, like if they still made Aquaracers with round bezels then it wouldn't be so jarring.
Hence I’d far prefer a 1000 tribute as a totally separate model, like the Pelagos and Black Bay. Allow the aquaracer to be a modern dive watch and the 1000 to be properly vintage slanted, far closer to the original 1000.
Yes this would make sense and no doubt sell well to forum members
