·I'm a little surprised TAG aren't citing the original red dial 1000 Series as inspiration here...
Here's my posting, with some live photos of the newest Carrera -- http://www.onthedash.com/carrera-red-dial-limited-edition-photo-album/

Usual promotional 'articles' free from opinion or any hint of criticism. Must be perfect I guess.
The Fratello article is actually quite interesting - it goes over the usual specs but then turns to an entire paragraph blasting the boring croc strap. Kinda like we do here, and kinda like what much of my conversations with the Boutique staff end up as too 😉
I really dislike these croc straps on these heritage Carrera (well, in fact on any Carrera or Monaco) 😒
Luckily it is something that has an easy solution, but for me it would be much more attractive if it came from the factory with a classic rally leather strap.
Amazing dial anyway, but it would not be my first heritage Carrera in the wishlist: Silver is first, probably teal is 2nd… until the day, year, decade… when they stop playing with colours to launch the long-awaited panda and reverse panda!
Seems we are of a similar mind Albert. Have retro-fitted an OEM leather rally strap to my silver. Came close to buying the teal, but ultimately have stuck with the silver. And will trade it in a heartbeat for a panda or reverse panda.
