Killing a few hours at Lakeside yesterday (hell hole from what it used to be) whilst my partner was having a surprise baby shower.

Thought I'd drive myself crazy on my undecided quest for a next watch.

Tag Boutique had 2 of these in,

Also tried the the bracelet version on but what my underwhelmed as the black strap had great contrast.

Was pleasantly surprised, and in the flesh is pretty much white, compared to the beige that the pictures show. Thickness no issue, and felt a lot smaller than the 42mm size suggest. Running seconds pretty much disappear on the dial also.

I must say, it's giving me 2nd thoughts on the Monaco/ Speedy conundrum. Great price considering the quantity being made and also the modern movement.

Very impressed. Bravo Tag Bravo

I think I would be almost equally happy with this one as I am with the 60th Anniversary. But I know 39mm wears better for my wrist size.

I just think having the 60th Heuer Branded just makes it all the better. WOS is great but it's the 60th for me all day long.

But the WOS is waaaaay more exclusive, only 250 versus 600, and you don't see them on every other Instragram post. 😗

Did anyone here buy a WOS? Is it 15 60th Pandas now, versus ???

I’m still close. I really like it and it’s moved ahead of the Monaco for me (crazy I know, seeing as I’ve wanted that watch for 2+yrs).

Would be very tempted if a 39mm model were to be produced.

250 is pretty exclusive but remember it wasn't available to everyone. Many countries couldn't get it. I think only USA and UK.

So 15 members here versus 1 for the WOS tells me the 39mm Heuer seems to be the more popular piece.

Only two I can think of are @Hubert and @Jeff Stein.

I think more people would have purchased the WOS Carrera but for the panda being in the pipeline for release one month later.

Yes, I know I would've, if not for the 60th's impending arrival. The 60th does win for me. Not just the size, but also the overall watch, vintage aesthetic and especially the strap. I think the rally strap on the 60th is the best one they've ever done.

Nevertheless, I do really like the WOS as well.

I really like the WOS model, but when it was released, I already had the white/silver-ish Carrera Sport 160th and planned to get the 60th heritage Carrera. The WOS seemed to sit stylistically in the middle between the two, and I was focused on the heritage panda. Love the WOS Carrera, but completely happy with my decision.

Would love to see more WOS Carreras pop up here with the forum members. Very solid release from TAG Heuer.

Currently add me down.

Discussing new straps in the AD where I got the Monaco, kept coming back to this, as the Monaco felt odd on wrist.

Now walked away with the Carrera. On strap but bracelet due in.

Currently finding it wears better on my wrist than the Monaco. Impressed with the movement even the fidget spinner aspect (although my dads Breitling Valjoux 7750 made a bigger wobble).

Guess I can pick a Monaco up easily in the future if I find its pulling me back.

I'd like to say congratulations, but I'm guessing you'll take it back next week...

Ha ha. I have held off from giving my opinion on your choices as it's your decision at the end of the day. Hope it is now settled, and for what it's worth, I think the panda Carrera is the best of the bunch. Certainly the most unique. Looks great, congrats.

Thanks, it is nice in the flesh more so than pictures do it justice.

I'm hoping it's settled now, doing my head in decided! FirstWorldProblems huh.

Shame as the Monaco is great especially face on, but something was bugging me, and I know how I'd be.

Either that or I'm second guessing myself

From what I've heard some people find the Monaco a bit odd at first... sits funny on the wrist, can take a while to get used to it.

I must say the SLR isn't the most comfortable watch on the wrist, but I like how it looks. Couldn't have it as my only watch though.
