Then I like this one for now, I’d prefer the dial to be an ice white rather than cream if I’m honest. I think I’d also like both straps too lol. I guess a way round rush would be to get the metal strap and then perhaps get a custom leather one at a later date
Getting it on the bracelet and an aftermarket strap later will be the cheaper option if you want both styles. However, if you want the OEM racing rally strap, I'm not sure how easy it is to get separately, since this watch seems only available via WoS. OTOH, the bracelet looks to be the standard Carrera Elegant version, which should be easy to order from any AD.
But it's more than a grand cheaper than the blue Porsche RS 2.7 and I think I like this one more. Very tempting indeed!
From Maxine at the Meadowhall branch, she said it's more cream then beige, which is probably a good thing!
Hopefully it is the plastic wrap. I'm changing my score if the dial itself really has that horizontal wood grain like finish.
Surely it is the plastic wrap; the pictures on the WOS site suggest it is a non-textured, opaline finish?
In the UK it's about £1000 less than the blue porsche, and I think I'd always be thinking 'I should have spent the extra and bought the porsche'. If it was £4k I'd probably have bought it by now.
