Also, I see you got the premium online shopping experience with a gigantic box that will take up half your watch room
Just fantastic. When I opened the (hilarious) box the first thing I said was 'WOW!' and that's exactly what you should say when you see a new watch I think. The strap is much nicer than I thought though at the moment the strap doesn't reach the retainer - I'm guessing it will when it gets a bit more 'relaxed', the retainer moves but I have it on the smallest setting - which is odd considering my wrist is at least 7.1/2"!
It's very cool, but I agree it doesn't exactly look good on TH from a sustainability standpoint, and it's a good job all my other watch boxes aren't this big or I would need a bigger house! Kinda know what it feels like to buy an Omega Speedmaster now. It must have cost a bit to make, I could understand them using it for a Heuer 02 but an entry level quartz?
Hahaha, maybe! I like it, but then I think the world is already f**ked and no amount of deckchair twiddling is going to save it....
Profit isn't everything is a nice idea, but the financial institutions who hold your house as collateral for your business probably disagree.
