Tried one of these on this morning. Really nice. Doesn鈥檛 wear as big as the specs suggest and nicely finished. the strap is stiff, but suits the watch and once broken in would be nice I think.

At the price point, I think it鈥檚 great. I can definitely see one of these in my future.

My strap is starting to soften after 2 weeks.
Early on it was hard to take off the wrist with the strap sticking together..now it's much easier and alot easier on the wrist.

Hmmm.... so maybe I bought the rubber strap for nothing?

Still good to mix it up occasionally.

Hi can anyone help me please? I'm after purchasing a Tag Formula 1 - WAZ101A.FC8305 watch for my son's 16th birthday present next month. However I'm concerned about the battery life? I know this particular watch has a Ronda 600.3d movement and on there official website they state the battery has approximately 40 months power. Yet in the official Tag booklet that comes with the watch there stating upto 18 months and when I've rung Tag up in Manchester there also saying approximately 18 months too? Now I used to have a Formula 1 back in the early 90s and back then it was costing me over 拢30.00 for a battery change and about a 6 wk wait time. After ringing Tag today they've just told me It's now 拢80.00. Now before anyone says anything about Automatics basically they cost alot more and if I can get 2-3 years battery life out of this new 2021 model I will be more than happy for my son. Hope someone can help me? Thanks anyone!

I have this watch, though obviously I haven't had it long enough to change the battery - it only came out in February or March this year. But I have a similar watch which is a WAZ1014. I've had that since December 2019 so getting on for two years and I haven't changed the battery. Also I have a lot of quartz TAGs and even older ones generally last 2-3 years so I would be very surprised if they only lasted 18months. And even if it did, your first battery change would be covered by the two year warranty.

I do battery changes myself. Costs about 拢1 for a battery, although you might also need a good caseback removal tool.

I'd also be very surprised if the battery expired during the warranty period, and if it did, you should be covered.
