There’s a few other images of it now appearing online. Looks spot on.

Tag Heuer needs to get its act together with all these leaks. Dial looks tunning in any case. Not a fan of the mushroom pushers though. I have a feeling DC might 'edit' this thread any time soon 😉

Sometimes I wonder if leaks are planned "leaks" to get more attention online...

Of course they are, as I said somewhere else - it’s the perfect free marketing exercise.

Ooo, a replacement for the Calibre 36 Flyback.

It does look more Zenith than TAG Heuer though.
Even more like a Breguet Type XX. Which I like very much!

Looks like we got some chronographs too for all you puritans out there.

I have temporarily removed the image. @Lugduno where did you find this one?

We should all note the source and give attribution, when finding a leak on Instagram, or another website. We (as Calibre.com) don't want to be referenced as the ones who initially broke an embargo.

I went on instagram for the first time today and luckily it was super easy to find photos of the chrono 👍

Boy that chronograph from IG # 3 is really gross. If it weren't for the Tudor, it'd be the grossest thing out of Basel this year for sure

Really? I think it’s the best one out the lot!

I kinda like the bronze with the green dial...

I promise myself not to buy anything other than dive watches this year but this could change if i see this new Autavia in person.

I kinda feel down of the calibre5 using though...kinda wish it would be calibre7. But maybe the performance be better with the new hairspring.

What a release for this year Basel. It's not a chronograph, but it could have been worst. This is by definition not worst.

I didn't like it either; but with some minor tweaks it could be a winner. BTW, the pictures have been removed.

Must still be under a really strong embargo. I wonder if it's not meant to be shown to the public at large at Baselworld at all.

I'll reiterate, I still like the case and bezel but the mushroom pushers aren't right and the dial is truly an exercise in ugliness. It could work if they went the "Heritage" route and put the regular Autavia dial into it, but it seems TAG is hell-bent on this new nasty design direction

In silver, the design shortcomings stand out; they were not so obvious in the black version. Maybe resizing the seconds subdial to be the same diameter as the others would help? That way the date marker would not overflow. Or maybe even remove the seconds subdial all together, or not have it accentuated (not recessed)?

The black one you refer to was already removed by the time I got to this thread, so I missed it. But I agree about the running seconds; making it smaller just looks strange. I think this would have looked a bit better as a 2-register too, but really the interplay between the vintage-style bezel and the neo-classic PT Cruiser numerals is just too weird to make this one work. Puts it into a strange, uncanny-valley type place IMO, and the mushroom pushers don't work here the way they do on the Carrera - they provide a nice balance to that angular case, but just bloat the look of the Autavia case.
