McLaren's newest hypercar, the Senna https://jalopnik.com/here-is-the-mclaren-senna-before-youre-supposed-to-see-1821154697
You aren't kidding. It actually looks like a 5 yr old Photoshop effort. Are we sure this thing is real?
OK, those pictures look better, alhough it is still an odd looking beast from most angles. Ill be interested to see official press photographs when they come.
It’s like a 90’s drawingboard cast off to be honest and I’m sure it will be epically quick, but there’s no reason to not look good at the same time!! Not a fan of it in anyway, and such a shame when you look at just how amazing the P1 is, especially in GTR guise.
Nothing about it looks "Senna" to me. Senna's real car, IMHO, is the Honda NSX. He actually contributed to the performance tuning of that car.
Slight styling cues from the NSX race versions, from the side profile IMO. Still horrific looking though. Ironic comment on the video commentary. "Polarising" much like most professional youtubers. He's so annoying.
I see a bit of the NSX in it and maybe some Subaru SVX? too, a load of bits lying around the parts bins unwanted, potential in it but over the top?
One seen on the M25 recently according the the motors section in the paper today, may have a mistake to drive it rather than in a covered transporter?
Now this is a proper Senna tribute car! https://www.topgear.com/car-news/supercars/mclaren-p1-gtr-celebrates-sennas-first-f1-championship
P1 GTR is an awesome sight on the road, just like the old F1 GTR as well as others like the CLK GTR, GT1 that came before it. The Senna colours look awesome on it and actually add to it rather than detract from it. The McLaren Senna on the other hand looks better in the metal than in pictures, although the uprights of the spoiler from the front still look cartoon like. Even the side scoops somehow don’t look as bad compared to pictures. The carbon fibre weave on the last Senna I saw was stunning in purple/blue!
I saw a white 720S on the back of a flatbed yesterday. No doubt being delivered to some lucky owner in time for Christmas.
