Possibly. If they are, that shows a lack of thought around the design which generally isn't something TAG Heuer gets wrong with their heritage/classic models.
I agree with you that having black subdials and white/orange accents would have been optimal. However I won't dismiss this new one just because of their absence.
Small update: This is a US-only edition given the restrictions on the licensing of the Gulf logo and brand. Reference is CAW211R.FC640
That is good news for me. Tired of UK exclusive Carreras. Any word on the availability timeframe? Is it still September?
No update on timing, but the September date came from a US dealer, so I reckon that will be pretty close to the mark. Surely the red/ orange will be resolved before it's launched
It could be a pre production offering before final sign off? The model hitting the ADs may have all the niggles cured.
Two questions: Is this worth getting if you already have steve mcqueen edition ? Is this worth getting if you havent got steve mcqueen edition ? Cheers
Does it make your heart flutter? Yes? Then yes. No? Then no. I don't think McQ ownership is relevant. Watch purchases should be about heart, not head.
Could've been better, but not a deal breaker for me. UPDATE: The watch is finally available for pre-order exclusively for the US market through TAG Heuer.com: https://www.tagheuer.com/en-us/watc...m_campaign=TH_NL_Monaco_Gulf_PreOrder_Aug2017 I created a new thread, now that the watch has been officially released. https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...lf-special-edition-caw211r.62217/#post-776843
