I think so. It's in what TAG Heuer call their 2017/ 18 Catalogue- all of the watches in there are current models, so I'd say this just shows what will be available for the first half of 2018 before the new watches arrive.

So i contacted an AD to order the excellent looking textile strap for the Red Bull. I said no when he told me the price is USD 450 👎 insane prices... for approx USD 800 I can buy the waz1010 on nato strap (not the exact same strap but still...)

Pictures stolen from the Internet to show how sexy the red bull strap is though. Who knows maybe I will still pick one up eventually...

The AD price is crazy, TAG's calf and croc straps are usually about that price and often cheaper. Suggest that you monitor ebay, good chance one of these straps may come up at a more reasonable price.

I do love the look. I'm a straps guy and that's how I would of bought mine.

^ That is one of the "old prices", when the straps were very expensive. The "new" prices for straps are much more reasonable.

@Jim Dollares You should ask your AD to confirm if there is an updated price. Otherwise, try to contact TH Customer Service in your country, to see if they can sell it to you directly.

When did TAG's prices on their straps come down? I recall them being quite expensive, but in the last 2 years or so I've purchased from my local AD and the prices were quite reasonable, under $200 - IIRC.

I believe they were lowered under Biver's tenure, as part of the overall realignment of TAG Heuer, as an LVMH "affordable luxury" brand.

Some prices were decreased and some were increased. Annoyingly, the 300SLR strap was one of those that increased and I hadn't pulled the trigger on the replacement I needed. It went from AUD368 to AUD450!

Well, mainly cos they've been out of production for at least two years and since they are commanding quite healthy pre-owned prices I would have thought they would have been snapped up before now. Don't you think? On top of that I know there are fakes of this model and this is a website that claims to sell 'luxury goods' at cheap prices (Well not that cheap). I would be wary of their 'sources' is all I'm saying. And if I did buy it I think I would ship it off to TAG to check it over pronto.

Mr Porter is a highly reputable web site who have their own watch collaborations in addition to selling many brands.

My guess is that TAG Heuer at some point removed any unsold stock in stores and put them into storage before clearing them through Mr. Porter..effectively an online version of Bicester.

I know. But you don't think it's a little odd?

Of course, it could be that the website says they have it and they actually don't. Or maybe they simply found some old stock?
