·Congratulations, this has been on my short list. Great watch
A few photos from the last few days. Went out in the Bullitt last night and hit up Woodward.
Congratulations Mike!
I'm starting to warm to this model despite its, IMO, 'oddities' I've got my brain trained to accept the winder being on the wrong side, that's not a deal breaker now. The horizontal indices...my eyes don't bleed as much as they used to last month😉
Enjoy your new watch and you're a fortunate man having a generous and understanding wife. Mine still calls my Monaco's 'clown watches' 🤨
Here's another question for all of you Monaco-heads...
Was it important do you that your AD completed the back of the little Steve McQueen booklet that came with your watch? Mine did not, but I may see if I can go back and have them do it.
I'll never sell this watch, but I still feel like it would be good to have all of the papers in order and with the watch, anyways.

Mine was also left blank. But it's not important to me. The booklet in my Monaco 50th Anniversary Edition is different and doesn't even have a page for the purchase date & dealer stamp. Neither do the booklets in some of my other TAG Heuer watches, so it's not something I dwell on.
However in your case, seems like you'd want to have your AD fill it in for you. Not because it means anything if you sell it, but because the watch & papers means something special to you. 👍
I don’t remember seeing that booklet with mine, will need to check, changed from my Monaco to my Carrera today, took a few hours to realise I had it on wrong, crown inwards, watch upside down, it does prove that retirement suits me , I hardly check the time now, I just eat when hungry and drink when dry.
