I am the proud One-Owner of an early 90's Blue Dial Kirium and 2010ish Yellow Dial Aquaracer Quartz model. It's been approx 10yrs since I have bought a Tag Heuer and to be honest, wasn't planning on adding any more in the near future.

I then found the 1st Monaco Re-Issue while scrolling for a Tritium Dial Moonwatch and my interest was peaked very quickly. A little research on the model and before I knew it, I had purchased it!

The watch will be leaving Melbourne Monday morning and should arrive to me on the Gold Coast by Midweek.

I don't know too much about Momaco's or Heuer's, but I have a weekend of scrolling to look forward to馃榾

Excited to get the piece in my hand and enjoy my 1st Monaco experience!

I like this Monaco, very retro cool and like the thinness of this watch compared to today鈥檚 offering of this watch. It looks great from you pictures. Enjoy!

These are very cool, congrats! Buying a TAG Heuer every ten years is not often enough, lets hope you can pick up the pace going forward

Great to hear they are a thinner piece, that's the only thing that has stopped me from owning a Monaco before 馃榾

Don鈥檛 see these very often - very nice!

That's why I bought it, a rare piece and won't see it on too many people you come in contact with!

Congrats. These watches that are part of the original "reissue"/Classics collection are pretty special imo.

Congrats! So that would be a 38x38mm case with a plexi on top?

Lovely watch. I wonder if you鈥檙e anything like me. After wearing my Monaco my eyes get used to the beauty of the square design and I appreciate it more and more the longer I wear it.
Then when I go for a change to the conventional round case watch I was mooning over before it doesn鈥檛 look as good as it did until my eyes/brain have readjusted.
I totally get why the Monaco is loved by so many it鈥檚 made of witchcraft.
Enjoy it!

I am loving the Square Case a lot, but mostly at these dimensions. I tried on the new Gulf Model today and it looked even bigger than usual. I think this will be my one and only Monaco but I'm so happy that it's this model!!

I love my calibre 11 reissue I wouldn鈥檛 change it for the world. It鈥檚 has siren like qualities.
When I first saw the Monaco I thought why? I don鈥檛 get it. Then it started to charm me and it has so much history.
