WTB: Heuer Autavia 7763 or 7863

Hello,

I am looking for a Heuer ref 7763 or 7863. I know the 7863 may be a stretch, but I will throw it out there anyway.
I would like an unpolished case. However, I am open to one with light polishing.

Hey Rich, will keep my eyes open for such a ref. Most of the time the "Compressor" cases are really butchered and look not so good. These Autavia Compressor cases are really good looking when they remain unpolished so you're right that you're searching for an unpolished example, a lot of details in the case lines and edges and I can tell these are almost impossible to refurbish with satisfying result...quick teaser pic attached...

Thanks for your reply. The information is very helpful.

I ended up buying a 7763 to tide me over until I find a 7863 for sale. Must be something about that date window that makes he watch more appealing to my eye.

Let me know if you see or hear of one for sale. I saw one on Chrono24, but the price is a little high, and the seller won't ship to the US.
