Would you buy an E4 today?

Hey all, so I used to use Wear OS years ago with the Motorola 360. Since then I avoided them as battery life was atrocious and features were limited. These days I have a Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. So 3nough about me.

Would you buy a Connected series today? If so, what is the real battery life that you expect? And how does the translator integrate? (I hit other nations every year and monthly could use Portuguese and Spanish an currently use Google translate on my phone or Samsung Galaxy AI on calls).

I would not buy a Connected E4 today. Although I still enjoy wearing mine purely because I love the way it looks on my wrist, its technology is really not up to date. Not only it misses several sensors and modern features, like ECG, sleep tracking, emergency services and more, but also TAG Heuer has left it for over a year without any updates (not only it still runs Wear OS 3.2 - current version is Wear OS 5, but it hasn't even received a security update for almost a year).
At this point I question TAG Heuer's commitment to Wear OS, or even to the smartwatch in general. I am worried that the E4 may be either the last TAG Heuer smartwatch, or that the next iteration will not be running on a mature platform like Wear OS, but some LiteOS type of OS, which will harm its functionality. And this of course means that the E4 will stop receiving support, though I am afraid it has stopped already.

I agree about not buying it today and waiting for next release (there are posts here talking about release by the end of this year).
I do love my E4, wear it often, but also have a Samsung Ultra for features that @Feanor mentioned (sleep tracking, connection to gym equipment, more sensors, etc.).
