Highly unlikely unfortunately.

Keep an eye on eBay, as all sorts of interesting things tend to come up. For example, here is the bracelet you are looking for, but in the wrong size (Ladies model): https://www.ebay.com/itm/TAG-HEUER-...280917?hash=item41d23ff455:g:IA4AAMXQ01dRd-1u

I have just got a brand new strap for it,I ordered a new one about 20 years ago and didn't get round to collecting it,I e- mailed the shop asking if they could source one from Tag last week and was sent an e mail with a photo of a strap that they had which must have been the one that I ordered all those years ago,I was lucky that they are a family run jewellers established over a 100 years ago so didn't dispose of any items like a chain might have done

Now imagine if you had ordered an Autavia or Carrera back in those days...

When my 1960s Carrera needs a new crystal I just take it to a local Rolex/Longines AD (family owned, established 1815) who have a visiting Rolex qualified watchmaker and they fit a new one for £15 all in. TAG-Heuer ADs want to send it to TAG at enormous expense, so I suggest try your local jewelers first.

As the watch is on a 60s Rolex bracelet it causes great confusion when the head is wrapped for protection on its return from the workshop, and the work-sheet describes it as a "TAG-Heuer automatic" but all that is visible is the big crown on the clasp.

It's okay, they kept your deposit and charged you twice... 😉

I have no idea of what the price quoted all those years ago was and if I did pay a deposit it wouldn't have been much,I paid £195.00 for the strap,I have no idea if that is a standard price for a strap,I did purchase a leather strap for it many years ago that was a Tag leather one for £50 and it only lasted about 6 months so to get the original metal one for £195 seemed not too bad

£195 is perfectly reasonable and can be considered very good value.

The guy did say this must be the biggest coincidence ever when I visited the shop with regards to me sending the e mail and him having one in stock,I wasn't sure if that was him being sarcastic, that's when I said to him it might have well bèen me that ordered it a very long time ago,he didn't respond to that.
