Will colors on bezel fade?

Hey guys

Within the next months I will finally have the money to purchase my first Tag. There are SOOOO many lovely models but one strong candidate is the Aquaracer WAY2012. I love the blue and contrast with yellow details. I also think it becomes a bit more dressy with the steel bezel compared to the ceramic versions.

Now to my question... do you guys know/think that the blue color on the bezel numbers will scratch off easily? I am not super active in sports and generally quite careful with my watches so it will not be treated like a "beater".

Every thread needs pictures, here is some porn stolen from the internet:

Nice colours. I wouldn't worry about the bezel numbers. Provided you don't gouge/scratch them, it'll be a long, long time before any paint comes out. And if it does, it can be retouched.

I have a similar aquaracer with black numbers on the bezel, it's had about 10 years of abuse and the numbers are still perfect.

The bezel, in my humble opinion, will be the least of your concern. That's the area Tag's did rather well 😉

Nice choice, btw. To this date i am still wondering would it be a better choice for me if i had chosen the steel bezel instead of the ceramic.

Hope you share some real pictures once you pulled the trigger.

Went to an AD to try the aqauaracer steel bezel and I think it might be even better in person 😝

The watchmaker in the store was wearing the Monaco calibre 11, first time I tried that on and suddenly a new urge occured!!! DANG that is one fine piece of watch, not any picture ever has done it right. It sat really well on my wrist as well, I always thought it would not since people online always scare each other saying "ooooh square watches dont sit good on the wrist"

Damn you wallet for not being able to afford the Monaco :whipped:

Great blue dial. Im on the market last month looking for blue dial as well. Dont worry about those blue print on the bezel it wont come off easily. That is like a blank paper start writing memories in it as you go but not intendedly. Enjoy!
