I was also testing a couple today. New Seamaster was proper classy. Loved the Marstimer too.

It’s well worth trying. Really liked it, but I would need a smaller bracelet than standard. Whilst I could get it in tight enough, with 2 spare holes, the excess made the bracelet stick out towards the watch itself. AD said that there are smaller options, but couldn’t see that listed on Omega’s website, when I enquired for maybe getting that for my own black Seamaster.

Personally not a fan of mesh bracelets or the straight fitment leaving a gap between bracelet & case.

I’d go rubber strap & look at something from Forstner or wait to see if Omega release a tapered SMP bracelet. (I know you are a fan of their current one). Black nato would work also.

The quality of some of the chinese goods are same as what you see on other websites for much more. An issue for companies having items manufactured in China is that they sometimes make it for the company that ordered the item and then make it for themselves to sell. Some stuff from AliExpress is you get what you pay for but I have also found the same quality for far less the price.

The Delugs copies sell for a little bit more. They taper from 20/16mm where the ones I listed above are 20/18 but come in more colors. Reviews for both are very good and I am pretty happy with mine.
