Have to say I agree with you, it does look better than the cream dial...
Agree. This why I am searching as well.
My guess is that Senna may have slightly preferred it too. I looked at every race weekend from 1988-1994 and from the pictures I saw, he wore both evenly in '89 and '90. But from '91 onwards, seemed to favor the gray dial over the cream. (From '93 onwards, his 6000 got the most wrist time.)

Nevertheless, the cream dial has long been propagated as the model he favored. Helped no doubt by DC's calibre11.com article on how it was gifted to his mechanic and TAG Heuer's constant marketing imagery.

As an example, this somewhat iconic image of Senna was reimagined with Gabriel Leone (Netflix Senna) by TAG Heuer but using the cream dial when it should've been the anthracite.

Incidentally, Senna's personal S25.206 Anthracite was on display at the Senna Forever Exhibit in Italy earlier this year. I assume the watch is still owned by the Senna family.

Had this on briefly yesterday. Mate of mine bought this for his 40th & picked it up last week. Nicer in the flesh.

I also caught him buying a Tag Heuer Carrera day date yesterday which will be his daily. The IWC his best & he’s also on the list for a DJs which will be worn in between both!

This is the Tag - https://www.tagheuer.com/gb/en/time...41-mm-calibre-5-automatic/WBN2011.FC6484.html

All nice choices. He certainly has a certain pattern of clean cut simple but strong designs. Bold, statement pieces, but not screaming excitement.

I am guessing an Accountant/Finance guy or perhaps a Solicitor?

EDIT: Not knocking his choices btw, or potential profession either. Just an obvious preference.

Team manager & sales for a FinTech company.

He had a few Tags from his early teens/ twenties he was telling me. I guess outside looking in, his wife likes strong classical iconic luxury brands. Her 40th was the…… drum roll. Ladies two tone DJs.
