Feeding my S/EL addiction with another new to me, 25-year old TAG. Model WG111B, quartz movement with silver dial, 38mm. Fairly minty
Appears to be in superb shape, well collected! 👍

Today’s Modular 45 combo on McLaren colours after their victory in Baku and new leadership in the Constructor’s standings 👍

Always think this looks cool. What size watch and wrist if you don’t mind me asking?

I like the 42mm Submersibles, but have seen the 47mm aluminium Due in the Other Watches thread and wondering just how big it might be on my 6.5” flat wrist.

Cheers. Definitely confirmation that 47mm is too big, but 42mm would be fine. 👍🏽

Same size wrist as me pretty much. My daily for 3yrs was 44mm Panerai 560 (manual wind, 8days power reserve and one of the last sandwich dials). L2L was 51mm. It had presence but didn’t feel overtly big, although the crown guards add another 5mm I reckon. Prior to this I had a 45mm U Boat (which wore like a hockey puck looking back) & that was my daily for 3-4yrs.

My dream watch when I was a massive ‘Risti, was a Panerai 372 (47mm) & was close to buying one, when I was gym bro, my wrists probably could’ve just got away with it. Really wish they make it in 42mm.

Since buying my BB58 I realise my sweet spot is 40mm & under with a L2L at 48mm. I can get away with 42mm and max 50mm L2L.

I miss Panerai when I see one, and often think the new 40mm range might be in the cards. But I prefer them time only (base).

You’ll be fine with 44mm.

Cool those!

They are certainly a statement piece, whichever the model chosen. 👍🏽
