·I don't know why but the Oxford Street boutique suddenly seems reluctant to let people walk around and browse on their own. The guy who walked in after me was asked to sit and wait until a staff member was free to deal with them. I don't know who decided that grown adults need to be escorted around the store but if they would have said that to me I would probably have said, okay I will go over the road to Selfridges and look at the Hublots, Cartiers, Chopards, Breitlings, Tudors, TAG Heuers, Mont Blancs, Breguets, Bulgaris, Vacherons, Panerais, IWCs, Bell & Ross, Audemar Piguets and Rolexes over there. Maybe I will come back after... but really I can look at watches without you holding my hand or giving me the story of Heuer.
Oh, but interestingly.... I said to the guy in the store that the 39mm Carrera was too small for me and he said (you might wanna write this down) classically Carreras were 36mm, but this is too small for modern day so we made them 39mm.
