😉 This is possibly the most special strap in my Modular collection. Alec Monopoly painted all 300 straps of the Limited Edition at a live event at the TAG Heuer boutique in Miami, so each of the 300 straps is different and unique 👍

Many of us were/are just as ignorant. As an old timer, I too had always thought this case was a newer design made for the early 2000 Monza remakes. It wasn't until only very recently that I learned the case has been around since the 1930s. That's why I find it amusing when CEO Frederic calls the case "avant-garde".
Yes, it is also explained in the diptych that came inside the box of the Monza 40th anniversary 👍

Appreciate you posting that, thank you.

Whilst not being hugely into vintage, this piece certainly does pique my interest, from the almost 100 year old case shape to the more modern elements of titanium and black coating.

Would definitely be drawn to a new model as and when one arrives, if similar to this design. I do think the current one is cool too, with the sapphire blue subdials, but outside what I am prepared to spend.

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think the Monaco looks SO MUCH BETTER with the crown on the right side.

I partially agree with that. I've started loving the 38mm Cal17 Monacos more than the C11, C12 and H02.
