I had a sad week so far. On top of emergency car shopping, my 2000 exclusive chrono died on me. The eta chrono movement has some bad circuitry, and I may not want to put to money into a watch that was never 100% to begin with. So I think I’m going to part it out. I put the newer/upgraded bracelet on my two tone exclusive. What do you guys think? Now I have one of each for this watch lol. If anyone wants any other parts, send me a pm. I have a case, pushers, dial, crystal, case back, hands, and date wheel etc.

Dad's Monaco 😉
Isn’t that the watch with the following motto? —>

« Vous ne possedez jamais vraiment une Monaco. Vous en êtes juste le gardien entre deux SAV… »

“You never really own a Monaco. You are just looking after it between two after-sales services…”

😗

Looks great! The new bracelet is fully steel or does it have the gold center links?

Thanks! It is fully steel. Which actually matches what the model would have come with from the factory. This model came with the earlier 2000 bracelet in 1999/2000 and in 2001 was offered on this bracelet, but neither had gold center links 🙁

Congrats!!! Is this your first pilot styled piece?
Thanks Jim.
Of this size yes. I had a IWC Big Pilot 46 but can't wear it anymore. I'm too used to 39 now. This 40mm feels great. Curved lugs really hug the wrist. The movement is what really got me in.
