Collected last night & after much debating pipped the Monaco.

Great deal at 15% off yesterdays list price, which as of today had a 8.8% increase from yesterday!

However I'm not feeling the sparkle yet (as I did with the BB58) & partly thinking did I make the wrong choice!

The watch is great & a technical marvel, almost like the M3 but deep down you know the 911 kicks you in the gut.

Congrats. I would wait a bit and see how you feel. I didn't feel the sparkle initially with the BB58 blue at all (was wondering if I'd made the right choice selling the OG for it), but it has steadily grown to a much deeper love.

Is that the sapphire? Sandwich?
They do come across a bit more sterile on photos than the hesalite but haven鈥檛 seen one in the metal. For what it鈥檚 worth I think the speedmaster is a fantastic watch. It looks great on the bracelet but really pops on a strap. The case design is a marvel, I doubt you鈥檒l end up regretting your choice. In any case it just means the Monaco is still on the list for a future decision.

The Speedy is a strap monster - it looks good on just about anything.
And yes, Monacos are easy to come by in the future. And Speedys pretty easy to sell if it comes to it.

Yes sapphire sandwich, I wanted the applied logo & sapphire case back.

I agree on all the points you mentioned & already I'm swaying as seeing it a different angles.

The bracelet is great, just cannot get a good fit as yet & unfortunately couldn't get the easy self adjustable clasp.

This is the Paul Newman, Jim. Personally, I am not so keen on this design.
